I’m at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, where voices are being geared up for the free grand finale concert starring Jennifer Hudson and Meghan Trainor tonight. Side note: As this is her hometown, the city of Philadelphia named a street after Patti LaBelle on Wednesday, July 3. A stretch of Broad Street, between Locust and Spruce Streets, has been renamed “Patti LaBelle Way” for the legendary soul singer.
