Holland, Mi – if you’re gonna travel the Lake Express Ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon, Michigan, you best bring a parka or a sleeping bag.
The 6 a.m. ferry departed on time to Muskegon, Michigan and once landed, had to buy two new tires after finding a 1-inch gash and by 1 o’clock on sweltery Monday afternoon, I was underway.
Managed to get in 56 miles to Holland put out a distress. Call on warm showers a travel network and got picked up by Jim and Kay gave me a very nice place to stay for the evening.
